“Al Horford plays the right way every time down — offensively and defensively.” — AllStar forward Kevin Durant
A quick glance at ESPN’s real-plus minus metric for power forwards suggests Horford shouldn’t simply be on the all-star team. He is (at this point in the season) an all-NBA contender.
He’s third in the league in RPM, and second, behind only Giannis Antetokounmpo, in win shares.
So please, don’t make the mistake of not voting.
At the same time, vote like you mean it.
Cast your allstar twitter vote and at the same time, provide people out there in cyberspace with some facts and reasoning. You can do it on your own, link to this page, or use one of the handy RT options below and give your vote a “multiplier effect.”
Who knows? You might just change someone’s mind — or at least, persuade a few to get off their fanny and vote.

Don’t just RT. Make your vote count
If you RT any of the following, you’ll generate 2-4 votes (DM us on how.)
If you RT and write a brief response with “#NBAvote Al Horford” in the reply, you’ll generate 8-16 votes… our team is hard at work.
(Don’t let Al be edged out by someone like Kevin Love for the all-star game. Remember what happened in some other recent elections…?)

What we learned in the Warriors’ loss to the Celtics — from the San Jose Mercury News. “The Warriors’ best foil to Horford is obvious — it’s Draymond Green — but in a November game, Warriors coach Steve Kerr wasn’t going to match up Green against Horford for long stretches — [it’s] too demanding on Green….”
