It most certainly seemed like the Celtics wanted this victory. Badly. Coming out of the gates, the Celtics played with amazing energy, at one point taking a 26 point lead over the Warriors in the second quarter. But once Stephen Curry put his mind to it, there was no looking back for the Warriors as they outscored Boston by 21 points in the second half to take a 106-101 victory over the Celtics. No one expected Boston to win this game, but the C’s gave fans a glimmer of hope, as they looked like a team destined for great things at least for a quarter and a half of basketball. Diamond Leung from the San Jose Mercury News has the recap.
