Melo-Less Knicks No Match For New Look Celtics

Evan Turner recorded his first career triple double as The Celtics demolished the Knicks at the TD Garden last night with a 115-94 drubbing.

The new great white hope Jonas Jerebko was the hero last night and the Celtics leading scorer with 20 points. Jerebko looked like a man on a mission, posting up down low, draining outside shots and manning the boards for the Celtics.

Isaiah Thomas once again was a major contributor for Boston, with 19 points and 7 assists. It seems like Isaiah’s fan club is growing by the day. If his play continues Danny Ainge might go down in history as pulling off one of the best trade deadline deals of all time.

Even though it was the Knicks, this was a great all-around team victory for the Celtics. Even Evan Turner added a triple double and Jae Crowder looked great off the bench with 18 points.

The Celtics return to action this Friday as they take on the Charlotte Hornets at the TD Garden in Boston.
