Celtics Can’t Keep Up With Kings in George Karl’s Return

The Boston Celtics fall to the Kings 109-101 in a strange game in which the shorthanded Celtics took an early lead but couldn’t keep up with DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings. Tyler Zeller (22 points) and Avery Bradley (28 points) were the stars tonight for Boston, yet Cousins dominated Boston, scoring 31 points with 15 rebounds, and 2 steals. The Celtics kept it close, with help from Sacramento who had 24 turnovers which led to 38 points for the Celtics. But the C’s missed 11 free throws and were out-rebounded 57-40.
